Abandoned + Reborn - MoCCA at 2009 China International Tech Expo

The necessity of a collective environmental conscience is no longer disputable. We live in an age when the natural resources essential to human survival are disappearing at an alarmingly rapid rate. Abandoned + Reborn comes from a group of Chinese contemporary artists who create from within the co-existential boundaries of environment and humanity.

From March 19 to March 23, the Museum of China Cultural Arts brought several very lucid and very inspiring works of Abandoned + Reborn to the Chinese public. At the specific request of organizing officials, MoCCA was the only exhibitor of art at the 2009 China International Energy Saving, Emissions Reduction and New Energy Science and Technology Expo.

Our Booth At the Expo Was One Of The Busiest

The powerful impact that art can have on the mind was remarkably tangible at our booth. More than 20,000 visitors and media were visibly awestruck by the sensible creativity and technical finesse of Wang Lei, Shang Yang, and Wu Mingzhong. In line with MoCCA’s ultimate goal of artistically uniting East and West through art, Abandoned + Reborn was an admirable design, and its exhibition a success.
