Swimming Through American Airwaves

On May 15,MoCCA artist Deng Wushu officially made his Stateside debut at Byron C. Cohen Gallery for Contemporary Art in Kansas City, Missouri. Little more than one month after this, the oil painter had already garnered the respect of America’s most revered media: National Public Radio (NPR). As NPR is widely considered the most influential source of social and cultural information on the American airwaves, the attention is a true honor. Correspondent Laura Spencer convened with Byron Cohen to discuss the subtleties of the Chinese contemporary art market and its reflection as seen through Deng’s exhibition:
